Wilder is more athletic than they, or any not just boxer but any ATHLETE in the entire world of that day ever was.
He is also visually MUCH faster than those goober giants, AND Louis AND ALL of the LHW sized Heavies of that time also despite being 6'7" and 225lbs!
And those 2 ancient oafs were hardly even trained boxers! They were in fact, circus freaks (one of them actually worked at the circus as a freak I'm pretty sure??) who just happened to enter boxing because they were big. I think Baer was basically just a labourer or something!
Just look at them for Christ sake!
Wilder, bummy as he is today, trains like a professional boxer all day every day with the most modern methods possible if nothing else.
Nobody from 1930-40 can compete with that under any circumstances!
The only difference between the 2 boxers is that Wilder is just a modern day Louis in that both boxers fought a lot of bums! But Wilder is fighting MODERN bums, which would be top contenders and champs back then.
