nope so im not goingt o point to garcia and say the man coming from 140 has to the the bully that wants everyone..i want to see him take on broner, peterson2, and khan at 147 in that order...a tune up can be thrown in if needed..during that time the real 147lbers should be fightin each other and if not i hope danny gets the floyd shot before any of them since they are so scared

I agree with you, and if Garcia wins two of those fights back-to-back, he goes straight to the head of the class.

I am definitely not interested in a Mayweather/Garcia fight, thats not what Im saying..... Danny's style will not serve him well against Mayweather.

Garcia has obviously not been facing top competition, but he cops a lot more flak than the welters, who have performed no better than him.

Two wins back-to-back against Thurman/Porter/Khan/Brook/Pacquiao or Bradley, and Garcia goes straight to the head of the class as the best welter not named Mayweather.

If anyone finds that upsetting, blame the girls at welter who seem unable/unwilling to fight each other.

One of those guys should have made a break from the pack, but not one of them did because not one of them tried to put together two good back-to-back wins, except Porter who lost to Brook. The fact that Garcia could be ahead of them in two fights leaves much to be desired from the current crop of welters.

Garcia is a welcome addition to 147, which should be delivering a lot more top level fights.

Lol. Paulie was the tune up! A guy who is a pure boxer, has no power what so ever, got KTFO his last fight, is 37 years old, and was already semi-retired! And who cares what the other guys in the division are doing right now. That shouldn't matter and it shouldn't be used as an excuse for Danny boy to take it easy. Danny should want to make some noise in the divison and put fear in the hearts of Brook, Pacquiao, Mayweather, Thurman. The only problem is that no one fears him right now.

True. Garcia has a fairly impressive resume so far in his career. He's only one or two wins away against the top 5 in the division from being considered the top guy at welterweight. I just don't know if he can do it. While he's undefeated, he's still looked very beatable in the past.

Al Haymon is a generous guy. He threw Paulie a lifeline for all what it was worth. The fight wasn't in the least bit competitive and it shouldn't have been because after all it was a showcase featuring Danny Garcia. Well at least Malignaggi earned a decent pay day for his troubles. However, I can't wait for swift to step up his level of competition at the 147 division though.

I'm not saying scream to the rafters about the win, but this was his first fight at the weight and he dominated. Its almost as if he didn't KO the guy by rd 3 he was a sham. Its a no win situation. I'm not saying call the guy the next coming, but dpn't just call the guy a scrub because he dominated. At this point in their respective careers, I doubt Floyd or Pac would've KO'd Paulie tonight for completely different reasons.

C'mon, Pac with two bad shoulders KOs Paulie. Paulie is so damn weak these days. He makes zero effort whatsoever to try to hurt his opponent. Any real fighter would steamroll this guy. Garcia, and really any top guy at this point, should be completely embarrassed to go the distance with Malinaggi.
