    PBC = UFC

their nothing but a joke with their fabricated champions and mismatches.

Boxing needs a promoter like DON KING, who dont give a fuck about nothing but himself. Fuck the fighters make them fight each other (thats what boxing is about).

These new dudes baby these fools careers trying to fabricate a superstar.
Comparing PBC to UFC is an insult to UFC.

      Wladimir vs "Too Short" Jennings?

Canelo vs the guy who fights once a year between stints in prison (granted great KO, but mismatch from the get go)

      Cmon man. Fire????

I think for the industry leader in the sport right now this is ****. HBO throwing so many bs fights out there is probably why there is even an opening for PBC to make such a strong play regardless if they succeed or fail.

I wish those people on NSB that are racially biased against Haymon were honest about it. when the same fights Haymon put on were put on HBO WCB or BAD cards and promoted by Arum or GBP, NSB collectively was fine with it.

Is their any difference other than the race/nationality of the person running the company? Please, lets not pretend poor production or the financial model is why people do not like the boxing matches.

Why don't those that have a non biased reason for not liking PBC/Haymon speak out against those that do?

So, PBC revived boxing? Boxing was fine (for boxing standards) before PBC and will be after PBC. PBC failing does nothing to boxing.

You'll get less fights but who's gonna miss the mismatches anyway? No one. I rather have quality over quantity. Look how many events PBC has had and I can count with one hand how many good fights they've actually had.

there have been some good fights on PBC (D Garcia/Peterson and R Garcia/Thurman come to mind), there have been some mismatches, but over all pretty good.

I still am a believer in the more boxing on TV the better, can't help it that's the boxing fan in me.

It's not a level playing field comparing PBC vs HBO. HBO gets $14.99 out of my pocket and therefore should be putting on better fights.

One thing I really like about PBC, I get to watch fighters I would never have otherwise, like Frampton, Kameda, and McDonnell

If you think boxing is just fine, you weren't around in the 60s and 70s when boxing was still a main stream sport. Trust me boxing is not just fine.

I meant it for boxing standards for nowadays. And no, I was not around the 60s and 70s.

2014 was a terrible year for the sport and Haymon had a lot to do with that. PBC supporters argued for all of 2014 that Haymon's terrible matchmaking was about saving the great fights for his new outfit, and that it would all work out.

I think the matchmaking has been better, but it's not where we were told it was going to be. If PBC was everything that it's cheerleaders claim it is then I would be loving it. But it just isn't.

I couldn't care less about Haymon personally, and who he is or isn't affiliated to. All I care about is the match-ups. PBC have a huge stable but they're not making enough good fights to convince people that their power is a positive for the sport. Too much filler and too many duds.

Only racists look for racism every little thing.

Not liking Haymon has nothing to do with the color of his skin but more to do with him being instrumental in killing many big fights in the past few years in addition to creating even more barriers for certain fighters to fight one another.
