Canelo's stamina is shit compared to those two. Those two were offensive machines. Canelo fights in spurts. If he loses, THAT will be his downfall.

You are correct his stamina isnt good. So you are saying Cotto performing the way he is and possibly beating Canelo is not going to be impressive, as the underdog, and after getting career ending losses? I assume you just don't like the guy and have no intention on giving any credit.

it would be the best win of his career, so he'd be the best he's been.

I'd give credit because, no draining of any form, pretty sure both will test clean, and other things. Just don't make it out to be more than it really is because this untested Canelo that Floyd/Cotto stans scream of being limited, will turn into the best thing ever if there's victory for Cotto. I mean the best thing on Cotto's resume is Shane Mosley right?

Canelito has always been overrated to me, who has he beaten? It's still a quality win for Cotto though, because he is falling out of his prime, and it's a good win for the PR side of the PR/Mexican boxing war, and that's really what makes this exciting.

How could we tell with the guys he's fought since then?

lol @ the comment that said Marg beat Cotto legit. It's not that it couldn't have been, it's that after you get exposed for something like that an asterisk gets put next to everything you did before it. Honestly, I don't feel bad for him about that.

Absolutely agree. I don't think Canelo is like an unbeatable monster but he's definitely solid opposition. In fact, that works both ways. A decisive win has to push the winner, whoever it may be, to the bottom of the top 10 p4p list in my view.
