Sure, the top guys might only fight a couple times a year, but if you're following the sport that doesn't matter.

As for how many times guys fight a year, well you're not the one fighting and taking punches in the face so NONE OF YOU are in position to tell guys how many times they "SHOULD" fight a year. Also Promotions and Networks have Budgets, it is other fighters who need dates and need to be paid as well. I think Arum said that HBO is only giving Fighters 2 Dates a year each so their you go! That is one of the reasons why fighters are only fight Twice A Year!

But Thread like this also expose how people are not really fans of the sport of boxing, they're just following the sports for 1 or 2 Fighters so when their guy is not fighting all they do is COMPLAIN! If your favorite fighter fights on HBO you be like "PBC and Showtime Sucks" if your favorite fighter fights on PBC then you be like: "HBO Sucks!" This helps me understand a lot of the idiots on this forum A Lot More Now

WTF, it sucks. They should fight 4-5 times a year, that would be AWESOME.
I guess in comparing you being a professional **** sucker i can see why you think this way!

All I know is that I'm seeing a ton of boxing lately, half of it for free. The talent pool is a bit shallow compared to 70's-early 2000's but I'm still pretty happy with what's going on in boxing.

Go to the video trading block and go watch all those fights you didn't watch.'

The real challenge as an American boxing fan is following the fighters under Featherweight.

It's frustrating at times but there's no alternative, but then I wouldn't want one.

No other sport has the same attitude and community to it that boxing does. I have twice as much fun training for, discussing and watching boxing than any other sport. At it's best, nothing comes close to boxing in my eyes.

You do realise that only a small percentage of boxers make that much right? You sound like a clown.
