Not to mention his resume at 140.

Where do idiots like you get bred from? Seriously.
somebody is misinformed...12 months? try 3 years

Khan did just fight Algieri, a B class 140lber at best...look at who Khan has faced since Danny Garcia 3yrs ago, that should be an indication he has no plans to step up in terms of opposition level

        Mayweather slipping away now though.

Eyes are burning on Khan now for his next choice of opposition.

This fight should be in WEMBLEY stadium next spring..

Brook and khan should do a co-main event first similar to what hopkins and Oscar did, and then have the huge fight in the stadium, much like froch-groves this year..

Why not fight him now. If you win you get a belt (something Floyd can add to his collection), and put yourself put there as the front runner to face Floyd, assuming Cotto loses his next fight.

I would like to see Khan vs Brook or Thurman, and the winner gets Floyd in May.
If they wait until next year they should do a joint card to build up the fight.

Khan has not ducked this fight. It's been in his back pocket for awhile now and only in the past 6-months is it even a relevant fight. He's been chasing the Mayweather fight tough for 2-years and this fight with Brook has not been any of his concern. It wasn't even worth talking about post Porter fight. Give it some time, it will happen. I guarantee it.

And if by chance Khan loses in the meantime, then so be it. It is what it is, but he's not ducking this fight. Now if he avoids the fight for years to follow, then yes he would be ducking the fight but as it stands now, the fight has barely gained any relevancy. And tbh, Brook is a virtual nobody. It's not like anyone is jumping at the bit to fight him. It does nothing for anyone's career outside collect a paper title. Floyd is the champ, Floyd is the man with the bullsey, Brook HAS to take a back seat to that, he is second fiddle whether you guys like it or not. Yes not even a proven fighter by my standards. Brook is NO ONE.

But he did talk about it. He was in the studio for the Porter fight and said that Brook had earned his shot and that he wanted the fight next. He said that Brook would be too scared to take the fight. Similar rubbish to what he's spouting now.

When the time came to make it happen, he tucked tail and ran like a b1tch. Fought Algieri instead - how is that NOT ducking?

Lol what? he's actively seeking the number 1 p4p fighter how can you say he has no plans to step up.

There's nothing to suggest Khan wouldn't fight Porter at all. That's just something being made up.
