Comments Thread For: Khan, Hearn Meet To Discuss Kell Brook Clash in 2016

Amir Khan has revealed that talks have taken place with Kell Brook’s promoter Eddie Hearn regarding an all-British clash at Wembley.

Last week, Matchroom’s Hearn told Sky Sports that he would offer Khan a date in November to box IBF champion Brook but the Bolton puncher has claimed a potential fight must wait until next year.

Hearn said he messaged Khan when they attended Scott Quigg and Anthony Crolla’s fights in Manchester last weekend and the former world champion has now expanded on that conversation.

So basically don't expect khan too fight anybody legit at the end of the year.

Because next year is his year.

He said Brook had earned it after the Porter fight.

At least Khan has actually had the balls to talk to Hearn about the fight. Convenient though that he left it until now so he can use Wembley as the excuse.

I hope so! I give Khan a lot of **** but he has a opportunity to build his own legacy and make huge paydays likely more than he would vs Mayweather by fighting Kell Brook and even Pacquiao in Dubai.

I hope he is serious! I really want to see Khan vs Brook but I have a gut feeling Khan is blowing smoke and he might take Shane Mosley up on his offer when he comes back at the end of the year

I have a feeling Brook's going to duck Khan again and fight a D-level fighter like Frankie Gavin. Oh wait, that already happened..

Now Brook ducked Rios too and he's hardly even B-level so looks like Brooks limiting himself to C-level or below as usual. It's got to stop soon though, the kids resume is laughable.

Hearn is partly to blame, he needs to force Brook to accept some harder fights or just kick him to the curb.

Khan really thinks he can sit out and just make Brook fight all the threats at 147? once Brook does so, hes not going to need Khan at all. Sure it would be a big money fight in the UK still, but Brook would be in the drivers seat. I hope Khan faces a half decent opponent atleast. His resume at 147 is laughable when you consider how highly he thinks of himself.
