If Khan fought Mayweather's resume, he'd be lucky not to have 5 losses. Castillo kicks his ass, Hatton kicks his ass, Mosley knocks him out, Pac knocks him out, Cotto destroys him, Marquez would be interesting and another potential loss, Ortiz might have beat him, Guerrero might have beat him...

Maybe he'd be lucky to walk away with like 6 or 7 losses, and that's just Mayweather's resume around 140 and 147. Imagine if we talk p4p and bring Mayweather's 130 run into this.

Leads to an interesting question, who, during Floyds career could've done what floyd has done with the same opponents? Name any boxer at his weight that couldve went undefeated facing the same opponents as he did?

At WELTER, even Berto is more accomplished than Khan. Its funny bcuz since Dec. '13, Khan hasnt improved his standing since
Willam well said - he had an opportunity to fight Brooke for a title but instead chose Algieri. He could of had a title to offer Mayweather but he chose to duck and disrespect Brook and keeps disrespecting him - well karma has a way of biting you and Mayweather's doing the same to him. He hasn't earned the fight against Mayweather and now most probably misses the boat if Floyd stays retired. Floyd has many fighters on his resume who would destroy Khan so best Khan keeps quiet and stops annoying boxing fans who can see a Khan artist when there is one.

Good work Boxing Scene. I think some of the mods who were sensitive about putting up any material pro-Khan have finally accepted that Floyd is perpetually ducking Khan.

First time I think I saw an article that spoke the truth about Floyd ducking on this site. Excellent work gentlemen, you should be proud of yourselves. It renews my faith in the site to once again become the number one source for real, unfiltered, unabridged boxing news. Keep up the good work, fellas. Your sincerity isn't going by unnoticed.

Then at a late stage in his career he took on Canelo, Cotto, Pacquiao all people Khan would probably lose too...while Khan around here ducking Brook...
Baldomir was unofficially the Linear Champ at 140(didnt pay sanctionin fees after he beat Judah) when Floyd fought him, thats why Floyd never got that lineal title at 140. Baldomir spoiled the big Floyd-Judah fight.

I agree on Khan though...lack of top level comp makes him a weak choice of opponent. Not that i support Berto but hes actually more accomplished as a welter than Khan based on opposition faced at the weight

Seriously, imagine Khan fighting these guys:

Canelo, Cotto, Pacquiao, Mosley, De La Hoya, Marquez, Corrales, Castillo, Hatton....at the contested weights, there is a very good chance he loses all of those fights and he most certainly loses at least 7 of them.

Khan is so right in this case.

So many fighter would be undedeated if they cherry picked like mayweather has.. such an overated resume vs has beens c and d fighters. Guys way past prime.

So many people seem to have memory loss.

In reality people wanna be associated with a winner ,even a cowardly type ,and a fraudulent type. Floyd has s ome solid wins but never really challenged himself like the ATGs. He is a hall of famer imo but it stops there.
