Do you think GGG-Lemieux will flop on PPV?

I think if it goes north of 200k then HBO, K2, and GBP will be quite pleased.

Remember, Cotto's first ppv against Judah only did 225k, so I think thats a pretty good measuring stick

Man its going to be interesting to see these numbers. I think it dies 150k maybe. We should all take gets on the numbers, it'll be interesting. This is a decent fight for sure. But it isn't a ppv event. Especially considering the cards we have been getting from HBO lately, it's very disappointing.

I can't see this fight flopping on PPV. The expectations are low already cuz its two guys who've never headlined a PPV headlining a PPV. So to flop what do they do 100k or less?

With all the PPV's that are likely to be on tap over a 3 month period I think Oscar's half a mill high estimate is too high even if they are the first who've got their PPV details ironed out. I think its completely possible they get 200k-400k buys & anywhere in that region probably makes this a profitable venture.

I've said it a dozen times already today since the fight got announced so I feel like a broken record, but while I feel this isn't a PPV caliber fight its ultimately a no lose situation for them to make it a PPV so kinda why not do it. GGG needs to start making some sorta moves before his ring walk requires a walker & a nurse & he still hasn't had a career defining fight.

Lol yes, he hasn't had one yet. And this won't be it. My guess is it'll probably be Canelo somewhere down the line if he gets passed cotto. I don't see him ever fighting Ward or Lara unfortunately.

This is not even close to a PPV worthy fight. I wouldn't be surprised if Haymon airs a show on free TV on that same night...

I think it will do anywhere from 200k to 250k which would be a great success for them.
