Yeah, Ward's best chance may be to try smothering Kovalev to keep him from having room to work.
I mean...that is what Ward does is it not? People would be on here Cry and Complaining about Ward style but he is going to make it a ugly fight to take away Kovalev Power and to the best to do that is the get INSIDE and WORK! So Kovalev Power vs Ward Inside Game! I call it 50/50, either Kovalev Knocks him out or Ward gets inside and just outwork him to the Cards

If Ward tries to smother Kovalev, Kovalev will just throw him across the ring or to the mat like he always does to fighters. Dirty tactics won't work with him because he can get dirty with the best or worst of them.

Ward would dominate Kovalev for 12 rounds.

This and Loma-Rigo are the two best fights in boxing right now. Like I see them being all time great fights with huge potential for explosive action as well as clash of styles and high technical level.

            kovalev dominates ward

kovalev will dominate ward just like he did bhop.bhop couldn't use his dirty tactics or get inside on kovalev and he's the best at doing that so ward has no chance.yes I believe ward gets knocked out against kov if they fight.

Ward is sick right now. Nobody to fight at 168. GGG fighting Lemieux in a big Middleweight title unification fight on ppv. Kovalev just whipped some ass again tonight and is now waiting for the boy to move up and meet him. Let's get it!! 175, **** 168. It's dead.

Well that ugly fighting gets boring after a while bro. People wanna see good action. Hearing fans Describe the way Ward would win vs Krusher is already boring me.

You dont even believe that Brush. This isn't GGG. This is an even bigger beast. Ward could possibly bully a 5'10 160 Golovkin but Krusher is gonna be a whole different animal.

Kovalev have been rocked more times than Ward in both respective careers. These are the facts. He also been dropped more than the one time Ward's been dropped.

                      It's a great question.

Kovalev's power is downright frightening. He doesn't have to hit you hard. He doesn't have to connect cleanly. He ends fights with jabs to the body. Literally anything he lands could put Ward in trouble. And Kovalev most certainly has the skill to land those punches in a variety of ways.

I'd favor Ward to win the fight, but this is a GREAT matchup. I need Ward/Kovalev in my life.
