I posted that because it's what I observe all the time on this site . Is a person racist because they observe , identify and call out racist tendencies and behaviors ? When he responded to my post about Mohammadi being such a unconscionable can , he automatically brought up Stevenson fighting Bika as if that was some kind of counter to me talking about Kov's latest mandatory being such a can . I wasn't taking a shot a Kov , rather just making fun of Mohammadi , so where does the Stevenson reference come in at ? Thats why I said he was turning it into a race thing . Did he automatically think that because I'm black Imma defend Stevenson or get offended ?Last edited by SugarRaRobinson; 07-26-2015, 10:17 AM.Comment

I dislike fans like you because you have a very limited knowledge and understanding of the sport. And your entire boxing existance is based around fighters you like, and dislike. All your opinions are based on what's best for your favs. And what's not best for the fighters you dislike. You're a novice to the sport. And unlike me, that's watched almost every single one of my favs get their ass kicked. You on the other hand, are scared ****less of the thought that one of your favs may lose. Ao you spin everything in to protecting them. You never criticise Ward for hanging around waiting for GGG, so I assumed you must be ok about him doing that.
I'm going to assume you must also be saying Kovalev should fight Wilder because you dislike fans like me too.
But what kind of fan do think I am? Do you dislike everybody who likes GGG and Kovalev?
And do you base all your opinions about boxing on dislike for certain people who post at forums?
Is that all the sport means to you - posting crap online to annoy people you know nothing at all about?
BTW, the sport of boxing means nothing to me. Its simply entertainment. Personally, I have a hard time loving something that can't, or doesn't love me back. Which is why I don't understand the personal attachment folks like yourself have to your favorite fighters. Kovalev, GGG, and anyone else you like doesn't give a damn about you.Comment

I never found Ali, Leonard, Hearns, Hagler, Jones, etc boring. I'm only focused on individual styles, how a man carries himself in the ring.
Rigo schooling Donaire was the paragon demonstration of boxing skill. Pure joy to watch.
The ClinchFest that was Ward-Kessler, atrocious.Comment

See, you know nothing at all about me. I've loved boxing since I was 3/4yo old and my dad would me out of bed at 3 am and sit me on his knee to watch world heavyweight title fights coming via special satellite broadcast from the USA. He and my uncles drinking rum and beer and me shouting and yelling along with them. Boxing has always been special to me.I dislike fans like you because you have a very limited knowledge and understanding of the sport. I boxed myself as an amateur, at MW and LHW, and had offers to turn pro when I quit at age 24 after realising I was never going to be good enough to box for England, though I came very close in my last amateur season. I had stamina, but was a slow starter. Not good for 3 3min rounds. I didn't turn pro beacause I had a good job, nice flat next to a park that I shared with my girlfriend, great social life back then, and I didn't want to give them up and relocate.
I like other boxers as well as GGG and Kovalev. The reason I spend so much time defending them here is because both, especially GGG, get so much unfair and biased criticism from people from people who hate them for reasons which have nothing to do with their merit, or otherwise, as boxers.Comment

R we really labeling ward a lifetime clinch fest because of what he did in the super 6 ? Have u watched him lately ? No clinches at all , and I'm talking about his last 3 fights . This label just doesn't stick anymore so please just give it up .I never found Ali, Leonard, Hearns, Hagler, Jones, etc boring. I'm only focused on individual styles, how a man carries himself in the ring.

@SugarRaRobinson, the two fights I cited highlight the fact that fans can dislike a fighter for reasons other than race.Comment

That's really wasn't what I was suggesting but ok . What I'd like for u to highlight is why Ward is STILL being labeled a clinch fest when he hasn't fought that way in years , but everyone still says he's so boring because they still say that all he does is clinchComment
