    • It being on PPV is a surprise but for the pot to be right I guess that is how it has to be. Good fight especially at 160, even if Golovkin is much more polished offensively and likely to make that work.

i will be cheering for lemieux

but i think golovkins ability to deliver the same power without getting as wide and sloppy will get him the stoppage

this will definitely answer the whole "does golovkin get hit on purpose" argument since nobody would get hit by david on purpose
        You are absolute right!

Canelo vs Kirkland was a forgone conclusion as soon as it got signed yet I thought that was still a fun fight. Idk how one couldn't think this is gonna have fun fight potential or be a fun fight. And actually the more I'm thinking of GGG's (imo) subpar defense & I do believe Lemieux to have ****** KO power that maybe some interesting **** could go down. Wouldn't bet on it, but who knows.

Still not a fan of this as a PPV, but from a business standpoint I can understand its kinda a no lose situation for them so why not.

            It definitely has entertainment value.
I don't think anybody is saying this is the best fight that can be made.
Fair enough, me I just prefer even matchups that can go either way, even if my favorite fighters are involved, I just love the drama and tension, plus the winner gets way more props and deservedly so.

            • Lemieux is very brave to take this fight. Could be entertaining until the expected tko/ ko for Golovkin.

Just giving Natas some **** because he's riding GGG hard. My sig is because Rounders and Ed Norton are awesome.

maybe not, but GGG has only been fighting in the states for what 2 years, while Cotto's been doing it for well over a decade?

If you want a FAIR comparison, lets look at where Cottos numbers were for fights like Mohammad Abduleiv, or Sosa, or Carlos Quintana.........

Won't be paying for it, though. Not PPV worthy. Should have been on HBO World Championship Boxing.
Agree with everything. This is probably the best makeable fight for GGG at 160 right now & kinda plays like a semifinals fight with Canelo vs Cotto if things go down as most of us hope. But nah its not PPV worthy, but again this being PPV seems like a no lose situation for the en****** involved. Probably helped make the fight with it being on PPV & if they can break even at a low buy number than fair play.
