    BoxingScene.com has been advised that a deal has been reached for a middleweight unification between IBO/WBA middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (33-0, 30 KOs) and IBF middleweight champion David Lemieux (34-2, 31 KOs). The fight will take place on October 17th at New York's Madison Square Garden and on HBO Pay-Per-View.

        he already did 8000 against geale when he was much less popular so i think he can.

          Not hating, just stating that he doesn't have a big enough fanbase to sell there. There are no gullible Mexicans in New York that actually believe a Kazakh is "one of them". And there are only a handful of real Kazakhstanis.

              Lot of Canadians in NYC and lot of GGG fans.

              This fight will sell just fine, HBO will out a big push behind this, because they want GGG vs canelo/cotto later.

              These are two of the most exciting offensive fighters in the game right now, not hard to sell this fight at all.

                Golovkin had 8,572 in attendance vs Geale (over 7,800 tix sold) and Lemieux had 6,532 vs Rosado 15 minutes down the street at Barclays. I'll go out on a limb and say this fight gets over 14,000 sold and does over 300k buys.
