Oscar De La Hoya and Golden Boy: Al Haymon carried out ‘fraudulent plan’

Golden boy just looks ******... Literally, golden boys executives and lawyers only job was to keep the fighter's promotional rights, and if there was a buyout clause make sure it can't be enacted for 2 years..Comment
-
How about Schaeffer just letting them all go sign with Haymon and not secure them to GBP... That's what started this whole thing. Now shortly we will see Richard working for Al. Shocking right?Comment
-
What's your point? If haymon bought out contracts, then fighters had to be contracted to golden boy... They struck a deal with haymon, allowing him to buy them out, then haymon bought them out... How can Oscar be mad at anyone besides his law team and himselfComment

It's funny too because they think they have done nothing wrong. Oscar should know loyalty means nothing in boxing, only money. Boxing is business. Sports is business.Comment

Sounds like desperation.
Personally, when i work with a company i always look to the "head person" and see if he/she is competent and innovative (Innovation is big in my field) but i dont see Oscar as a leader.
Not saying his company will fail but so far i dont see growth. Richard led that company while Oscar was just the figurehead
GBP should have worked along side PBC and promoted the shows to keep the company positive.
Just my opinionComment

The sympathy I see in here for Oscar, well I don't have any. I am no fan of the PBC, it seems too domed in. What Al is attempting to build though, is exactly what Oscar proclaimed he wanted to do years ago. Don't believe me? Google it.
They are all snakes. Oscar, Bob, Al etc. They all want to be the one in control.
The sport is too loose though and has a fast turnover of talent. Nothing stays the same. It is all peaks and valleys and it levels out in spots.Comment
