I really liked the first fight, probably the best fight this year. Pascal won 2 or 3 rounds, pushed Kovalev backed and managed to land some big, damaging shots on Kovalev. It was great stuff and Pascal is still a top 3 LHW. So why not? Kovalev didn't want the Stevenson fight, Hops is done with, Ward don't want none so why not Pascal?

Because Kovalev and Duva look like they want to play A-side with Stevenson, and without Stevenson, Pascal is one of the few legit options.

I really don't care about it. Kovalev damn near killed the guy the first time.

Pettiness and they no longer need it as much. Kovalev made his name and has 3 belts while Stevenson becomes more irrelevant by the day.

Hopefully they get over that **** and make the fight, because the WBC is still willing to hold that purse bid no matter how many times Kovalev says no.

Kovalev is in a tough position with a small time promoter that has no clue what she's doing. Haymon has all of his opponents and she's bitter because he holds all the bargaining power. Her ego got in the way of doing what's best for her fighter.

Because Kov/Duva prefer the easy money from HBO to beat Pascal again rather than fight Adonis on another network.

By staying with HBO, they will give him easy fights and move up SMW's to keep Kov making them a profit until they are forced to fight Adonis.
