But my question is when has Ward called out Kovalev or even said he wanted to fight him? The first time he was asked about him he said "What would I do after that?" Basically verbally avoiding him.


Meanwhile, Golovkin at the least offered him a fight at 164 and Ward has been hush-hush about it.

If Ward decides to go up to 175, he says a fight with Kovalev is an obvious scenario.

He's in his 30's. A Full-Fledged LHW? He isn't growing anymore. If he wants to move up to 175, he can.

Yes I totally care about flag/color by being in a GGG/Ward thread. I care about the sport more than anything. Minority fans don't give equal credit most of the times because of it. I tell you from experience in following the sport for over 25 years.

I think this is not half as damming as Ward fighting at 172 in his most recent fight, 4 lbs above the 168 limit.

If Ward asks for a CW against Kovalev, then the GGG stans have ammo.

So why isn't he being crucified for not calling out the bigger man and calling out smaller men like Golovkin, when Golovkin is being verbally obliterated for calling out the smaller men (supposedly) but not moving up to fight the bigger man?
