Using that logic, what has GGG (with his resume of bums) done to earn a fight with Ward?

GGG's team have run the 'everyone's ducking' excuse into the ground. Anytime a name opponent calls out GGG or is mentioned as an option, they come out with all these excuses why they can't make the fight and then go on to make a fight with Adamu and justify it by saying 'everyone's ducking'.

GGG may find Lara awkward but still KO's him, it would be the best name on his record but he'd rather face the likes of Monroe Jr. These fights do nothing for Golovkin, when he eventually fights a true world class opponent, he might be in for a rude awakening

The article doesn't say that Haymon gave Lara the all clear to fight on HBO. So I'm going to assume he didn't, because if he had done, the article would have stated that for sure.

So all this means is that Sanchez rejected Lara as a possible option.

Not a story really, just click bait for GGG haters.

Anyway, forget about Lara, he would have been a crap opponent for GGG.

A unification slug-fest with Lemieux is an infinitely better fight than a rabbit hunt with Lara.

Lemieux will come to fight and has a punchers chance of wiining. Lara would have come to survive then complain about being robbed.

I'm all for the Lemieux fight and agree it will be more entertaining while it lasts. Any word on that fight actually happening?

Im a GGG fan , but Abel comment is disguting and dumb , GGG is NOT floyd , he cannot start nipticking on past performance and if he could KO delvin or not , Lara is a much better fight then monroe and the rest of the Tier 2 MW , if you dont get a big fight for a title or a Ward fight , Lara is the best option , also i dont like the berating of fighters that are not big hitters ,this sport as variation and thats what makes it great , clash of styles and startegy , Abel should keep is mouth shut.
Starting to get annoyed with the GGG managment team.... they are shooting themselves in the leg recently......

It makes a lot more sense doing it that way, don't you think?

Does it matter when they turned it down? The fact remains they did = duck.

I want Golovkin fans to reply to this post..........

Is it acceptable for Cotto/Canelo to demand a catchweight of 155 for GGG ?

Everybody who knows me, is well-aware that I cannot, and will not, regard catchweights as acceptable..... but in this particular instance, that catchweight would suit me perfectly

I hope nobody is going to argue with me about that

This article was written for GGG haters, not GGG fans. I'm only in this thread to point that out.

GGG fans don't give a shit about Lara. Neither do boxing fans in general, which makes him a lousy opponent for anybody.

It means the network problem was never looked into, and would most likely have ruled Lara out even if Sanchez had been OK with him.
