Ward always has an excuse for why he can't take fights: Can't go to the UK for Froch, Kovalev "where do I go?", and I'm sure he'll say I can't make 164... always an excuse..

Triple G = willing to fight anyone, but not going to move up to full 168 when he plans on fighting the Canelo-Cotto winner or Lemiuex at 160..makes no sense... plus who wants to give harmless Ward an advantage with weight when the dude clinches and punches every time without warning in the U.S. especially Cali particularly Oakland..

Ward can keep adding to his excuses and having his promotional team pay to get his fights on TV... keep fighting the Paul Smiths of the world...

Still no evidence that Ward has a big weight advantage over Golovkin. The only evidence we have points to it being around 6lbs at most.

No evidence either way because he won't get on a scale. I just listed you a fight for Kovalev during that same period where he weight 181lbs. By your logic since Kovalev just weighed 189lbs for Pascal, Ward is now weighing 184lbs during his fights.

Oh well enjoy those BET fights because that's likely where he finishes his career after refusing to travel or move up/down in weight.

Ward was fighting in the 170s in the ring while dominating 168. Golovkin is in the 170s fighting at 160 and wanting CW's to fight a 168 fighter. Who's the one with the bigger balls?

Ward's been talking about moving up to LHW for years and yet last week gave an interview saying he needs to gradually build himself to 175. Ward will retire before he fights Kovalev.

I want Ward/Golovkin, I believe Golovkin beats him in a Bika/Ward style fight. So far everybody here is conveniently ignoring what Abel said at the end of the article: If Ward becomes a relevant star again, then they'll change the weight demand.

Two things and that's it for me on this topic

1. Abel is sounding like TMT/Cotto. "We the A side do; we don't need Ward." Now they better ****ing revere Cotto as the A side and bend backwards. Also, GGG fans and Floyd haters (lots of correlation), your guy just said something that Floyd said for years and he was dumped on on this site. GGG is that now. Even though he's not actually an A side on any level.

If he was, he wouldn't be begging for Canelo or Cotto and Ward would come down tomorrow. So, GTFO with the A side ****. An A side is Cotto, Floyd, Pac, Canelo. You're just an A side next to Monroe

2. Abel has to eat giant amounts of crow. This is the guy who said GGG would beat anyone from 154 to 175. "Kovalev? GGG killed him!" Now I don't believe anything he has said. All hype.


With all this said, i still like GGG. But his team just revealed itself to be just about the hype; not different at all.

And how many years ago was that? Ward is such a draw today that both HBO and Showtime sent him on his way when he came knocking with his tune up demands. So Roc Nation had to BUY HIM A TIME SLOT ON BET to show his fight where he got lower numbers than a little league World Series game would get on a Saturday afternoon on ABC.
