    • Golovkids, you ducked this post even worse than Gennady ducked Ward.

I want Golovkin fans to reply to this post..........

I am guessing that the Cotto/Canelo winner would be labelled a coward/ducker.

      Right ?
Is it acceptable for Cotto/Canelo to demand a catchweight of 155 for GGG ?

Everybody who knows me, is well-aware that I cannot, and will not, regard catchweights as acceptable..... but in this particular instance, that catchweight would suit me perfectly

I hope nobody is going to argue with me about that

All that is cool but you can't come back against some can at a CW and then act like you run things. If you are second tier to a potential opponent then that's what you are.

When Kovalev calls Ward out this Sat night and Ward/Hunter come up with some reason not to fight him next...the Ward myth will have been busted. I will want your opinion as to what the hell is the deal.
I hope Ward is there doing commentary and after the fight Kovalev goes over to the announce table and calls Ward out right there and then. But they will probably have someone else doing colour commentary for the fight on Saturday instead, Roy Jones or Hopkins I would think.

        But I can still hope!

Has Ward beaten the Dirrells? Jack? Groves? Chudinov? Callum Smith? No? He's never fought any of them you say? Guess he should get to work on beating because it looks like he has to start over again because the guys he did beat all seem to have retired.

Oh well... Ward will have plenty of time to get things done while Golovkin goes about his business of winning middleweight titles, starting with Lemieux. At least Ward will be able to pick up a few bucks doing commentary on HBO so that he is not totally forgotten by the fans while he has his fights on BET.
30 Stoppages of no names who haven't even made as much as a trickle since they lost to golovkin much less a wave. And he actually struggled with a few of those fighters some that were legitimate 154 pounders. Bottom line the guy hasn't fought anyone. Monroe was exposing him until he just decided to quit. Ward has beaten the best and toughest in his division. Dangerous fighters who were tested and proven themselves. Who has golovkin faced? The limited bleeder rosado? The one dimensional left hooker stevens? A faded kassim ouma? Who all I might add had their moments in their fights with golovkin. Fights that were more competitive than even golovkin anticipated. But these were c and b level fighters.

Even murray a very limited fighter in my opinion had his moments. Golovkin is hyped dude I just hope you don't become suicidal when he gets thrashed and exposed when he starts facing elite top fighters. And the only viable name on that list you mentioned is dirrell the rest are easy work for ward and they dont bring enough money to the table they are not names in the division or sport. Every fighter ward has faced were better than the fighters you mentioned in that list with the exception of dirrell. Froch just knocked groves out and ward beat froch easily. So what the heck are you talking about?

So the cw is ok for Ward because its a non title fight.

Chavez jr doesn't have a title, but they'll fight at 168.

I guess you really have no idea how business is done in boxing. Let me clue you in... it is not done in email conversations with Fat Dan on his blog. Nor is it done on twitter or any other media site. Now you keep believing whatever you want, nothing I or anyone else has to say will make any difference to you as you simply are not intelligent enough for these kind of discussions.
So let me get this straight . GGG and team release through multiple media streams that they will fight Ward with a 50/50 purse split and a 164 catch weight . You've been on all these threads justifying this duck move , but now your suggesting its either a inauthentic press release or simply means nothing because they never got to the table ? But never mind the fact the ward asked them to come to the table to iron out these terms , but they refused . I see , your simply picking and choosing what u deem as valid and authentic based on whether or not it fits into your GGG DEFENSE STRATEGY , Got it !!!

                • what theyre basically saying is ward ain't ****, he brings no money, we dont need him, do as we say or kick rocks

ok then.. explain why triple bum's groupies went crazy when Jeff Mayweather said if he wants floyd he should drop to 147 ??

ggg brings nothing to floyd, and resume wise hes a first class bum , so drop to 147 or kick rocks

LMAO, no, the post I responded to was saying that Porter looked like a completely different fighter, a diminished fighter because he was "forced" to lose 4 pounds to fight Broner. He lost the weight and beat Broner's ass.

You are saying that GGG asking Ward to drop weight will make him useless and is a chump move. Moving up in weight isn't always a good thing, the Cahvez-Fonfara fight, Bika-Stevenson fight and the Broner-Maidana fight all come to mind. The smaller man moved up and got his ass whooped by the bigger man.

So don't act like moving up is an advantage and moving down is a disadvantage because neither is the case. Obviously, it suits your agenda to defend Ward from moving down, but that only lends itself to saying moving up to 175 from 172 is a smart move. Be careful.....Kovalev is waiting.
