Cool, cool, so you are saying that jumping up 8 pounds doesn't make a difference?I honestly really didn't believe a couple of pounds made a difference either until I saw the Broner/Porter fight . Porter looked like a completely different fighter . I didnt know who that was in the ring , it was awful . For this who still wanna pretend that 4 pounds south of your usual weight limit doesn't mean much please go back and look at that fight .
Also, the guy that lost 4 pounds whooped the other man's ass so what are you really trying to say here?Comment

Firstly GGG and team through media outlets expressed they'd take the fight with Ward only with a 50/50 split of the purse and a 164 catch-weight .First of all, there were no negotiations. There was no communication between K2 and Roc Nation. NONE. NADA. RIEN. I guess you have yet to get that into your pea sized brain or are simply too ****** to understand.
Second, there would not be any negotiations. This would be a take it or leave it offer. Want the fight? These are the terms. Don't like them? Go back to fighting on BET.
Secondly , if u think fighting on BET is so seedy and beneath u , then why did tune in to watch wards last fight ?
What a grade-A clown u r .Comment

30 stoppages with 20 in a row out of 33 wins in 33 fights. All fighters would like to struggle with their opponents like that.Become a relevant champion again? He never became irrelevant. Taking year off doesn't change the fact that he is a dominant proven elite champion who has faced and beaten all the best in his division. Unlike the hype job golovkin who has struggled with c and b level fighters and unknown fighters. Ward is the more accomplished, proven and tested champion here, not golovkin. Golovkin is not in a position to call any shots.
Has Ward beaten the Dirrells? Jack? Groves? Chudinov? Callum Smith? No? He's never fought any of them you say? Guess he should get to work on beating because it looks like he has to start over again because the guys he did beat all seem to have retired.
Oh well... Ward will have plenty of time to get things done while Golovkin goes about his business of winning middleweight titles, starting with Lemieux. At least Ward will be able to pick up a few bucks doing commentary on HBO so that he is not totally forgotten by the fans while he has his fights on BET.Comment

Well said !All I'm saying is that on the basis of my reluctant acceptance of a catchweight fight, my reasoning will remain consistent. I hate catchweights but I can't honestly say I'd agree with a CW in one fight and then switch up my reasoning for another fight. The only somewhat consistent holding point for CW's that I can see that holds for most cases is the bigger money fighter, the bigger draw picks the more comfortable weight, as crappy as that is.
If GGG and his team have other ideas, then that's on them but from a personal review of CW's in general, I view the bigger "star" as having the leverage. This is once again, only for the sake of trying to have a consistent stance on something that I don't agree with in general.
Personally, when something is completely unnecessary, does not add any value, and is being abused..... I burn it.
But well-said !Comment

SMH...GGG is has more fight in the last year than Ward has had in the last 3 years. Dude lost his steam because he thought he was a star and wanted to punk his promoter.
All that is cool but you can't come back against some can at a CW and then act like you run things. If you are second tier to a potential opponent then that's what you are.
When Kovalev calls Ward out this Sat night and Ward/Hunter come up with some reason not to fight him next...the Ward myth will have been busted. I will want your opinion as to what the hell is the deal.

I didn't tune in to watch Ward's last fight, didn't even catch a minute of it. I do not even have BET in my cable package and I could not be bothered to stream it.Firstly GGG and team through media outlets expressed they'd take the fight with Ward only with a 50/50 split of the purse and a 164 catch-weight .

I guess you really have no idea how business is done in boxing. Let me clue you in... it is not done in email conversations with Fat Dan on his blog. Nor is it done on twitter or any other media site. Now you keep believing whatever you want, nothing I or anyone else has to say will make any difference to you as you simply are not intelligent enough for these kind of discussions.Comment
