GGG fans already trying to hype up Lemieux.
      Yup, what else is new!

My guess is Lemieux pushed the issue. I saw an interview where he was saying he wanted a big fight, and GGG was the fight he wanted. Even though he will lose I like his attitude.

Sure, I favor GGG too, but if anyone's going to beat him, it could be Lemieux because of that unreal power.
LOL well i guess broner was a baby when maidana beat him too.. didnt stop him from getting crucified by critics though

If HBO can sell Pacquiao vs. Algeri, they can definitely sell GGG vs. Ward! If they can't, GGG needs to call Haymon ASAP!

Yet he's not willing to drop at all for GGG, who is clearly the one with more fan support now? Hypocrite, much? Lara is with Haymon, who won't ever do business with HBO, so all of his trash talking is equivalent to talking **** on the internet, knowing that you'll never have to back it up.

The mere fact that you have to cling to the idea of these two guys being the only acceptable opponents for GGG proves that you think he's an elite fighter. If it's not good enough that he fight another world champion coming off several impressive victories...you're just bitter because for some reason you don't like Gennady. Well, guess what...most boxing fans DO.
wrong, dawson was actually the one who called out ward and said he could drop to 168 .. of course it was only afterwards the weight was a problem

Explain to me how Lem isn't a good match? He is easily top 5 in the division, and the only one ranked that high willing to fight GGG at the moment. I would put him on par with Quillin and Jacobs in terms of quality.

So it is a bad match because GGG will likely KO him?
So we punish guys for being too good in their weight class, and accuse them of ducking the best guy the next weight division up now? You guys need a vacation and also need to get laid, your priorities are all ****ed up. Your hatred for GGG is stronger than your interest in boxing at this point.

It will be an exciting, championship level fight. The only complaint that makes sense to me is it being PPV.

The consensus here seems to be GGG is going to kill him but he's finally getting another champion to unify with him....sooooo
