Must be on the undercard of Canelo vs Cotto pay per view.

Tom Loeffler, the managing director, for K2 didn't say much other than to reiterate that Golovkin's goal was to unify the 160 pound division. In addition to the WBA strap, Golovkin is also the WBC interim champion.

People are really over hyping this David Lemeiux, didn't he get stopped by Rubio? Golovkin and his team love to paint this "most feared boxer" image but they have shown nothing but the opposite. Lemieux need to fight someone else before GGG for me to even feel this is an actual fight. GGG shoud fight Lara or Ward, 2 men that called his bluff.

You would think so, NY is an expensive place to fight due to taxes, especially for foreign fighters. Maybe MSG made an offer in exchange for rights to selling tickets like they did with Alvarez/Cotto. I wouldn't doubt Montreal is still in play.

When he was 22 years old. Remember when Andre Ward was 22 years old and almost getting stopped by Darnell Boone. Ward was lucky there were only 20 seconds left in the round, he stumbled back to his corner.

No not because GGG is so great, moreso Lemieux is average.
Besides the obvious Froch n Kessler, how many people on Wards resume can you say are better than Lemieux? I do see it as a normal fight but he does have a belt, something GGG wants(since he wants to unify).

I'm thinking GGG made the 50/50 offer across the board(Including weight, they both meet 50/50 on that too) because as the A side he figured it would just be fair. Now if Ward wants to accept 80/20 on the cash and have GGG at 168 that may work. See where this is going, Ward has NO FAN BASE and 98% of the fans will be Golovkin fans.

The best fight on paper for both guys since Quillen don't want to step up to the plate. Since there is no Jr or Froch this is a fan friendly fight to watch until it last.

I don't care if this is PPV. Because if it's at MSG i'll be sitting in the arena.

It's a great fight and it just goes to show if there is enough money, guys will take the test.
