Stop the play on semantics . Ward said he would like to sit down and negotiate the fight with GGG and his team , NOT THROUGH THE MEDIA . Funny how everyone wants to give GGG the benefit of the doubt. When Cotto wants a catch weight they kill him. But GGG was gonna go up to 168 for Chavez and Froch but now catch weight for Ward? So bogus. Hope someone exposes him already so the fanboy hypocrites find someone else to drool over.

Floyd got bashed because he and his fans CRIED incessantly about catchweight when it came to Pacquaio....Mayweather even used the angle of NOT having a catchweight to promote the Cotto fight......and then turned round and humiliated all you little groupies by fighting Canelo at a catchweight :lol:

The problem wasn't the catchweight itself, it was the crying about Pacquaio doing so that made it especially bash-worthy.

Fights are not made by posting crap in the media. They are made with face to face negotiations. No contract was ever sent and accepted through media channels. No fight was ever made by having your lawyer send an email to a fight analyst on HBO. It is difficult to agree on ANY POINT OF DISCUSSION when you are not in contact with the other side directly.

Blame GGG's matchmaker - that's the problem, they thought Ward was going to sit back and wait for GGG, but he utilized his man in the room with a gun theory - he went straight at him, to call his bluff. What's up with that GGG rant video where he was dissing Ward??? He was willing to fight the #2 Super middleweight in the world at 168 - says a lot about how Boxers view Ward. The man is no joke! GGG turning into a business man now eh....back to the matchmakers fault - He has not fought anyone remotely like Ward - he should have offered potential opponents the lottery because he would eventually make that $ back easy! now Ward is calling him out - they never expected that! GGG has only fought 2 ex champs....has not cleared out his division, fought his first Southpaw in his last fight, but his fan base are calling him great??
