Ward is in no mans land.......he can't draw big crowds like triple ggg......he only fights out of Oakland .....and he can't even get down to 168 and that means he is fair game for kovalev and the light heavys......what makes me laugh is ward is asking for golovkin to move up 10 pounds and face him and yet he is not man enough to face a 175 fighter in kovalev.........164-164 is fair...golovkin weighed 158 his last fight so he will jumping up 6 pounds so ward can jump down 6 pounds as well.......ward brings nothing to the table except his boring style

Can someone embed this video for me. I'm not sure how. @44 sec Abel says "we would want a catchweight too because he does it to everyone else."
Abel mentioned a catchweight all the way back in April. He also alluded to it a year or two back regarding Ward but I can't find the video. So i'm surprised people are still shocked by this. It has been their stance for a long time.
And keep in mind this is before the Froch negotiations.Comment

Golovkin wouldn't even force any catchweight, but there are other many issues to be settled for a Ward fight on such a short notice... On another hand one must find out if Ward is really serious about such a fight; because one month ago ward didn't know who and at what weight he was going to fight next... then he suddenly repeated the mantra of "I want Golovkin NOW, right now -- because it's what I want now..." But who would take Ward's word for granted? Last time when ward wanted GGG "NOW" was on Nov. 17, 2013... And what did Ward do next after calling GGG out? Ward just "retired" from boxing...

Didn't he "retired" for one year and a half? Didn't he declare that he is contemplating retirement from boxing, after being almost twenty years in the sport? Do you need a link? You can go and check it on Google... If don't find the article, I'll do the search for you...
