No one has ever claimed GGG was a PPV headliner. Neither is Ward. Which is why this fight needs to be built up before it can make the kind of money that both fighters feel they deserve. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. There are only two fighters who sell a PPV on their name alone and they are Floyd and Manny. All other fighters in the game today need to be paired with another fighter to reach PPV level.

This is also something that has been asked and answered dozens of times. You seem to be turning into nothing more than a typical troll. Sad to see that happen to a once quality poster here.

To be honest it has been "STOP ducking Ward!" "Fight Ward!!" for ages and now GGG is saying lets fight he's still a coward haha. He wants to fight. Catchweight or not he wants to fight and you Ward lovers are still emotional?

Ward should take it as a compliment that GGG feels he needs a catchweight, which is basically what he's saying, he's saying lets fight, and there needs to be a catchweight because you're the division above me AND should be fighting at 175. Froch, Chavez? 168 thats fine he obviously believes he beats them relatively easily, but with Ward he asked for a fair catchweight because he knows Ward is a great, great fighter.

Why are you all mad? It's the fairest catchweight ever, GGG can make 154 and Ward won gold at 175. THINK ABOUT IT.

It's only fair. The reigning, defendng, Light-Heavyweight Champion Chad Dawson came down to the full super-middleweight weight limit to fight him.

It's payback time. Remember, the focus should not be on GGG and what he just demanded, but on WARD. What has ever been asked of Ward for a fight to be made? For Dawson, there was no compromise. Hell if he agreed to a 172 compromise against Dawson, he could've been the LIght-heavyweight Champion as that is still Light-Heavy. But he took Chad's offer and just defended his belt like it was another contender.

He should either fight GGG at 164 or move up, and stop this 172 weight testing business. If you haven't outgrown 168 by now then you can definitely make 164 without a problem.

lol Barcham, you seem a bit perturbed today...If he says he will fight two other guys at 168 but not this one, its because of the level of competition. He's fighting cans and when its time to face an elite fighter, he's backing out and making excuses. If 168 is good enough against Froch and Chavez jr, whats the reason for side-steppin? In your opinion, why doesnt he extend the same challenge to Ward if it isnt about the level of competition. THERE IS NO MONEY IN A WARD FIGHT! THERE IS NO FAN INTEREST IN A WARD FIGHT. THEY HAD TO GIVE AWAY TICKETS TO HIS LAST FIGHT AND STILL COULD NOT FILL THE VENUE!!! THE GUY HAD TO FIGHT ON A TIME BUY ON BET BECAUSE THERE WAS SO LITTLE INTEREST IN HIS FIGHT.

There is more money in a unification fight with Lemieux than in a Ward fight AT THIS POINT IN TIME. If Ward is able to win a couple of fights against top contenders in the next 6 months, then there MAY be enough interest in Ward to make a fight with him a profitable venture. At the present time, however, there is not enough financial reward to balance the effort and risks involved.

First off, I could give a damn about being on someones ignore list, two when people on this forum were being told a lara vs Floyd fight was high risk low reward, people didnt want to agree with it, now that it is ggg, NOW low risk/ high reward is valid.
