Couldn't agree more, honestly Boxfan you come off a little sensitive. Mexican style generally means an offensive, come forward style. The stereotype is there for a reason, some might call them mindless brawlers, but to each their own, I have and always will prefer fighters who want to fight. I don't mind Golovkin saying that because he fits the mold well enough.

I do get sensitive because how can you put a guy like Chavez Jr. & Juan Manuel Marquez in the same category because that is what you are doing when you say "Mexican Style." Nacho Beristain has said his style of training is a combination of the old soviet boxing and the Cuban boxing styles, so I guess every fighter trained by beristain is different.
