Why? A Cotto rematch would look better on Mayweathers resume, he's the lineal MW champ and a HOF fighter. Golovkin is nothing but a title holder. Hype is forgotten, accomplishments aren't.

Floyd has a fought the very best of his era and even some of the big bad wolves of this era (Canelo) . His body of work speak volumes , so I'm not mad that for his last fight he doesn't let the haters/naysayers dictate who he should fight this time as he's done so much in the past

Not true . Ward is calling for the GGG fight THIS fall , all the OTHER boxing websites have posted the article EXCEPT this one . This site seems to protect GGG for some reason and doesn't like to post articles of Ward calling him to the table to negotiate . As far as Ward saying no and GGG saying yes to the fight long ago , Ward was at a contractual stalemate at the time so he couldn't and didn't fight ANYONE for almost two years .

If you don't have respect for Mayweather already, I doubt a fight with a drained GGG would change your mind. The idea of this fight brings back memories of Ward / Dawson......

keith thruman did 4 million views in one night so actually he'd be the bigger figth by the numbers..but i'm about sick of this character and his team..u know the fight we want to see..it would be hell if floyd was calling out a guy from 135..and floyd doesn rehydrate to 160 from 147 like ggg who will go from 160 nearly to lhw

From his last interview, after talking to HBO:

"I'm not far off, and I know that if a fight with Golovkin happens, they'll probably want to have a fight in between. It'll probably be next year - obviously HBO, they know what they're doing, they want to build it properly."

The biggest fight in Boxing is Mayweather vs The big bad black Haitian Andre Berto.

Berto is the way better option. CBS and Haymon won't even approve GGG because he hasn't beaten anyone.
