Casual boxing fans fall for anything. GGG would not dare to call out someone who is one class above him but calls out a guy who is two classes below him. Floyd has the 154 belt but has only weighed 151/152 for all of them. GGG was willing to meet Froch at the full 168 lb limit but had the audacity to demand that Andre Ward come down to 164 to fight him. What does that tell you? He claims that no one would fight him? There are plenty of strong middleweights with belts like David Lemieux, Andy Lee especially, Daniel Jacobs all champions that are strong and would fight him immediately. He said he wants to unify the titles. Well he can fight all them this year. Andy Lee is tall and strong and would beat him I believe. He just likes to call out the much smaller fighters.

Golovkin has been trying to secure a fight with Mayweather, who doesn't seem too interested in the fight. Mayweather will return on September 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas - with the opponent reportedly being Andre Berto.

Golovkin is willing to drop down to 154-pounds for a fight with Mayweather. The pound-for-pound king has world titles, under the WBA and WBC, at welterweight and junior middleweight.

i still cant believe the hate and incredible desire people have to see mayweather loss gives ggg any credibility in this. How ggg the guy who tries to say everyone is scared of him and will fight anyone is trying to say mayweather should fight him. i mean seriously people how can you take this serious? mayweather has never weight in above 151 were talking one hundred fifty one ****ing pounds and you guys want him to face ggg? do you realize how much bigger ggg would be on fight night then floyd? not to mention if floyd somehow pulled off a decision he would get literally no credit. I just honestly cant believe u guys can give ggg a pass on ward and give credence to ggg when it comes to mayweather. any none bias person can see how ridiculous this is

Saying he would drop down to 154 to fight Floyd isn't calling him out?

Let GGG fight Canelo and win - THEN it would be the biggest money fight in boxing the way things stand at the moment.
Best fight though? Not even close. More skills on display if Loma-Rigo get it on.
And that coming from a GGG fan. Not saying I wouldn't be watching though.
