He was still and title holder and defended A belt multiple times before the Chagaev fight, ie title defences, no ?

            Get over it already.

Shoulda been made box a clean immediate rematch against Povetkin before he went forward. Then it woulda been Fury vs Povetkin in Oct.

Even tho Povetkin is WBC mando - the hopes of him getting to Wilder before Wlad are slim. Depending on how Fury does - Povetkin under the rules of boxing is the only guy who can take down Wlad.

You may actually believe that; which in itself is pretty amusing.

i'm surprised, it would be very cool to see him fight all the youngsters

at the same time he's one of the most hated boxers in the sport and all these guys will ****** if he loses a fight at 42-43 years old and call him exposed

                    Perhaps Wilder will be next

Belt is trying to get him to fight Povetkin which I think al knows he's not likely to win

Meanwhile all the shot opponents they're trying to recruit (tarver, arreola, briggs) are kind of making fun of them.. publicly

Just cashing in early against Wlad may be the best remaining option

So true. I expect their will be a few emerge afterwards whom the ****** boys will no doubt claim would have defeated after he does in fact retire.

I think at this point he's just making so much damned money and hell he's close to a bunch of new records why stop. The guys bigger than him really are his key to convincing the scribes whom claimed he ain't never faced guys bigger than him or the same size etc, they are the key to winning over the detractors. Nail those guys and their really is not anything more to be said. I genuinely can't see who will beat him out of Joshua, Wilder, Fury and Parker.
