Loma isn't even close in skill. Rigo, Floyd and Ward are in a class of their own.

Ok , you don't want to make 124 , even though you weigh in 125 ... But you don't want to cut weight at 134 ???
Loma knows rigo beats him , that is why he wants to take all the weight he can .... A bum
Fight Walters then , it is only one pound , coward .

Rigondeaux is the most feared boxer in the game , he would go to 126 , giving size and weight advantage , but only asking 134 cut , and Loma says no ???? Cmon , man . Rigo is avoided by all : panty joke , mares , frampton , quigg and now Loma ....

Hit and not be hit ; can not hit what you don't see .
This is one of the better posts in this thread and it got ignored. LMAO! This was on page 1 of this thread.

Once I read this post, I knew it would get ignored. You know why? Because SCHMUCKS can't handle the truth

The Loma fans are transparent and agenda based.

These are most of the same guys that call GGG the "A SIDE" and Andre Ward the "B SIDE". The same guys that say Pacquiao beat Mayweather. The same guys that are criticizing Mayweather for fighting Berto, etc...

Do we need the Stevie Wonder or Ray Charles reference??

Only a biased low-life SCHMUCK would want to see rehydration clauses be taken out of boxing.

So it's ok for guys like Arturo "HBO's former Golden Boy" Gatti to rehydrate 23 pounds above his weighin weight and give Joey Gamache permanent brain damage?

      You guys are a joke!

Just come out and say the obvious: "We love suckin Loma's JOHNSON, so we will emotionally defend Loma's every move, every thought and every decision.. We are unable to have a rational viewpoint of Loma because we are sexually and racially attracted to him..."

Just come out and say that, and you'll get my respect. Otherwise you are pure comedy.

      • Loma sees a skilled fighter too, that doesn't need to put demands. Rigo is still good enough to be out-weighted and win and get even more credit if he does, he breaks faces and has skills himself, i dont see the problem, thats how good i see Rigo as a fighter, he could still beat Loma and without demands, but some of these Rigo fans seem shook saying Loma should meet Rigos demands.
RetroSpeed05, I agree with you up to a point, Rigo has agreed to 126 and accepts the fact that he will be outweighed, now he only wants to make sure the weight difference isn't extreme, I think that's fair and it's not really a demand, more like a request I think, and you are right that Rigo is skilled enogh to pull it off but like I said in another post a big skilled fighter will beat a small skilled fighter 9 times out of ten if their skills are about equal which is the case here.

          1. Why are you generalizing, if that's what you think all Loma fans are like then your a idoit.

          2.Really now smh...

          3. Its not cool for Gatti to do that, but its been done before where guys out-weigh guys on fight night. Rigo isn't fuc*kin bum like Joey Gamache, and if he would have fought a 122 Gatti type fighter he would have gave him the beating of his life.

Anybody want to translate? It's nice to hear what Rigondeaux himself has to say on the subject.
Good find, but oh man it's hard to make him out here, but this is what I've caught. Anyone can correct me if I got anything wrong here.

              On the 124 catchweight
Rigo: "I don't need 124. I want 126lbs so that no one talks ****. We are ready for anything. I have never reviewed any fight plans, none of that weight talk was by me that was management talk. We're ready for anything and anybody. I'll fight him at 126lbs."

              On the rehydration clause
Rigo: "We can fight anybody and I'm in the 122lbs division, and guess what? No one wants to fight me? Fine, I'll fight at 126lbs. That's the position I'm in. Gary is in a big hurry to and is negotiating with Loma and with others. He's is setting these terms, but this is what it is."

              On Loma as a fight
Rigo: "It's a good fight. We're both Olympic champions and we know each other, I've got no problem fighting him. He can weighin at 122 and then blow up to 140/150. It doesn't matter."

              On Carl Frampton's recent fight
Rigo: "Let's see if he wants to fight. The Gary Hyde situation might be getting in the way here. Let's see when I'm with new management/promoters"

              On LSC
Rigo: "He said he would fight us but ran to 126lbs. We'll fight with anybody. Where is everybody in my weight class? Watch when I go to 126lbs, he'll go to 130lbs (the announcer egged him on to say this though)"

On the 122lbs/126lbs division and rivals
Rigo: "I'll fight them all at the same time. Wherever they are. Where are they? I can stand in a corner in the middle of Miami screaming 'I'll fight anybody at 122 or 126 and they'll all run."

              On fighting larger fighters
Rigo: "In the ring, they'll realize their size won't help them"

              From Donbores (?), Rigo's other manager (???):

"Rigo needs 4 month prep for fights."

"September 15th is the end of Gary Hyde's contract. So he's in no position to create fights as he doesn't have enough time to set one up."

"Nothing official on Haymon taking Rigo on."

Rigo talks a lot of **** on the Gary Hyde situation. Looks like all this negotiation stuff between Gary Hyde and Loma's people will go nowhere. Rigo seems dead set on not working with Gary"

I only agree with rehydration clauses if one fighter is moving up

Donaire beats Lomachenko by K.O in the second half of fight, Walters K.O him in the first 6 rounds.
