Like I said I understand though. I'd stay away from Rigo for a couple years myself if I was in Loma's position. Boxing history won't care if they fought in 2015 or 2017, but those couple years probably will matter a lot as far as the outcome.
Lomachenko is not "staying away" from anyway. He's at his weight, waiting for whoever wants to fight him there.

From Loma's FB page:
There has been a lot of talk recently regarding a showdown between WBO featherweight titlist Vasyl Lomachenko and WBA/WBO junior featherweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux. And Bob Arum, who promotes Lomachenko, believes it is a possibility.
"I think if we got to Dubai, they would love that fight," said the Chairman of Top Rank, which is in the process of negotiating a fight card over there on November 21st.
It's no secret that Arum is not a huge fan of Rigondeaux and his style. Top Rank promoted the Cuban southpaw for a few years before parting ways. But a match-up of two men that won two Olympic gold medals and are considered two of the best boxers in the sport intrigues the promoter.
"For me as a boxing fan, I mean that's a fight that I have to see,'' he said. "That's one of the classic fights of our era. I understand the lack of interest, maybe, in Rigondeaux."
Lomachenko's manager, Egis Klimas has made it clear that a fight between the two would have to take place at the featherweight limit of 126-pounds.

Sorry but this is a straigth duck nothing more. Arum is alright with the fight, Rigo is alright with go up to 126 for the fight, only thing he wants is a rehydratation clause which is anyways natural to him according to his manager.
so both promoters are interested: check
Rigo is interested.
Rigo wants it at 124 and with rehydration clause --> Loma says he doesn't like catch weights, only in 126 --> fair enough, cws are not good, Rigo accepts it at 126 with 134 rehyd clause to Loma. Accorfin to Loma"s manager it's easy to make because Loma isn't any heavier at fight nights. So all good and then --> Loma rejects rehyd clause.
you can't argue that this is not a duck. I feel sorry because Loma really didn't seem like a primadonna so far.
