Lomachenko isn't asking for anything out of the ordinary. If you want to fight him, come up in weight otherwise forget it and stay where you are if you think you're "too small". Simple.
You blind? Have you seen Rigo before bruh? He's tiny. The Loma advantage is his natural size. And **** Rigo shouldn't be the one wanting to fight Loma as bad as Loma should be wanting to fight Rigo cuz Rigo losing gets Loma more respect than Loma losing to Rigo gets him. Like I said I understand though. I'd stay away from Rigo for a couple years myself if I was in Loma's position. Boxing history won't care if they fought in 2015 or 2017, but those couple years probably will matter a lot as far as the outcome.

rehydration clauses make the entire ban on same day weigh ins redundant and bring back fighters dying because they're boxing when they need an IV

If he's "tiny", then stay at 122. Either move up or don't. Don't half arse it. It's that simple.

Lomachenko is not "staying away" from anyway. He's at his weight, waiting for whoever wants to fight him there.

          From Loma's FB page:

There has been a lot of talk recently regarding a showdown between WBO featherweight titlist Vasyl Lomachenko and WBA/WBO junior featherweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux. And Bob Arum, who promotes Lomachenko, believes it is a possibility.

"I think if we got to Dubai, they would love that fight," said the Chairman of Top Rank, which is in the process of negotiating a fight card over there on November 21st.

It's no secret that Arum is not a huge fan of Rigondeaux and his style. Top Rank promoted the Cuban southpaw for a few years before parting ways. But a match-up of two men that won two Olympic gold medals and are considered two of the best boxers in the sport intrigues the promoter.

"For me as a boxing fan, I mean that's a fight that I have to see,'' he said. "That's one of the classic fights of our era. I understand the lack of interest, maybe, in Rigondeaux."

Lomachenko's manager, Egis Klimas has made it clear that a fight between the two would have to take place at the featherweight limit of 126-pounds.
That POS Arum has to take an unnecessary jab at Rigo at the end...typical...

Agree 100%. I tend to think rehydration clauses will become some commission level type thing not just a "diva" thing, as the morons here like to act like it is right now, at some future date. I think watching rehydration might be one of the easiest ways to get guys in a more accurate division.

Sorry but this is a straigth duck nothing more. Arum is alright with the fight, Rigo is alright with go up to 126 for the fight, only thing he wants is a rehydratation clause which is anyways natural to him according to his manager.
so both promoters are interested: check
              Rigo is interested.
Rigo wants it at 124 and with rehydration clause --> Loma says he doesn't like catch weights, only in 126 --> fair enough, cws are not good, Rigo accepts it at 126 with 134 rehyd clause to Loma. Accorfin to Loma"s manager it's easy to make because Loma isn't any heavier at fight nights. So all good and then --> Loma rejects rehyd clause.
you can't argue that this is not a duck. I feel sorry because Loma really didn't seem like a primadonna so far.

How many fights have rehydration clauses?

Move up or don't lol. Like it or not there are more options out there. If Loma isn't cool with them fair enough. It appears he isn't, so the fight is dead in the water & Loma & Rigo can go back to fighting guys most have never heard of or care about.

Why? Its using an advantage like reach, or speed, or back peddling all fight and simply touching your opponent scoring points. As long as a guy makes weight, that's all that matters.
