just finished hattons book vegas tales , very good read one thing that really came through is how bitter and resentfull he still is over the handling by cortez in the mayweather fight , hes very honest in the book as ricky says he knew it was a hard fight but he thought he deserved a level playing field and chance to win which was ruined by cortez not allowing in close fighting and constantly breaking the two apart when he got close also the elbows and tactics of mayweather that never seemed to get reprimanded by the ref but hatton got punished by the ref for the slightest thing, also wasn't happy about cortez being all over mayweather after the fight that made him very curious and pissed off , he talks a fair bit about floyds behaviour before the fight on the prefight media tour and how Floyd acted like a 6 year old and complete ******* , also talked about floyds behaviour at a wbc conference recently and how arrogant he carried himself and his behavier toward fans acting as if hes way better than anybody else his body guards shoving people away from him when they approached for autographs ,his thoughts are floyds a great fighter but it takes more than that to be a revered remembered champ and he hopes one day he starts understanding that .

At the end of the day, Hatton was the one who decided to dance to Mayweather's tune.
He moved up to Floyd's weight, he decided to fight in him in his hometown, and he took the money on the table to be the B-side.
He didn't need to do any of that, he was a PPV fighter who filled stadiums at the drop of a hat and he wasn't competitively obligated to fight above his natural weight class.
Mayweather wasn't going to compromise himself for Hatton, so why did Ricky compromise himself for Floyd?
If the answer is money, then I'm afraid he only has himself to blame (or not, depending on whether he's happy with his decision today). -

It's over half a decade but both his opponents in that year are still salty.
2015 was interesting. Floyd put on well-behaved act yet his first 2015 victim was left bitter. Flashes of peak troll FloydComment

One thing I do remember Ricky saying back in like 2010 a couple years after their fight, he went over to Floyd at a press conference to say hello and Floyd acted like he didn't know who her was. He can be a real **** sometimes, regardless of his fighting ability.Comment

Just watched round four to refresh my memory; Ricky wanted to fight with one arm around Mayweather the whole time to keep him in place, and he ends up getting Floyd in a headlock or pushing Floyds head down awkwardly with his left multiple times, sometimes resulting in Floyd getting punched directly in the back of the head.
Dude is delusional to think that he didn't have "a level playing field" because the ref wouldn't allow him to do that all night. I like Ricky and man did he have balls of steel, he did a good job in that fight, but you cant say you didnt get a fair fight because you weren't allowed to foul. I mean, how many headlocks did he put Floyd in, 100?Comment
