  • Comments Thread For: Kovalev Has No Intention of Vacating Any of His Belts

This upcoming weekend Sergey Kovalev takes on Nadjib Mohammedi in what could best described as a stay-busy fight for 'the Krusher' who's coming off two victories over Bernard Hopkins and Jean Pascal. The reason why Kovalev is facing Mohammedi is to fulfill an IBF obligation to face his top ranked challenger.

The only belt that matters @ World title level is the Ring Mag belt! Stevenson needs to glove up or retire!

Al Haymon is hurting the sport of boxing by preventing fights like Kovalev-Stevenson and Quillan-Golovkin.

This is just as much HBO's fault as it is Haymon's.

I will accept bets on Kovalev losing at least one belt over the next 12 months.

Don't need to be an expert read between the lines person to see that when Duva says "one day he won't need all these belts" she's saying once Beterbiev becomes the mandatory for a belt & Duva knows she can't win a purse bid, Kovalev will be dropping that title.

If Kov takes on his mandatories rather than fight Stevenson then he should be held accountable for depriving the fans of the fight we want.
