Yall GGG supporters coming up with excuse after excuse now it's he going ruin his body of he go up in weight to fight ward when he has the Canelo/cotto winner next...
So, are you implying that GGG should move up FIRST for a fight with Ward BEFORE moving down to fight the 155*lbs cashcows at their catchweights?
But, that same logic doesn't apply to Ward? It's ok for Ward to fight the smaller guys first before moving up, but not GGG?
By your own logic Ward should stop waiting around for GGG to move up and just fight Kovalev first, then after that he should meet GGG at a catchweight, right?
I would expect Ward to beat a bloated MW in much the same manner that he beat a zombified LHW. I see people bring up Mayweather. GGG offered to go to 154, where Mayweather is the current linear, WBC and WBA champ. Ward seems unwilling to even meet GGG halfway.
My preference is fights where the outcome is unclear. Floyd vs GGG at 160, I would expect GGG to knock him out. No need to see that unless Floyd wanted to follow in the steps of greats like Duran. Not really sure what GGG looks like at 154, Floyd might outbox him, or GGG might catch him.
Can't see GGG moving up 8 lbs and beating the larger, taller, longer reach, far better resume/more accomplish and more talented Ward. Can't see it being particularly entertaining. If by some miracle he beats Ward, he's guaranteed to never get far more lucrative fights with Cotto/Canelo winner or Floyd. He'd be stuck in a division, he'd be tiny in. One where Ward has been unsuccessful making fights with top opposition for well over 3 years.
Ward is a better fighter than Kovalev. That's not my opinion, that's a fact. What makes that fight interesting is Kovalev's size and power advantages.

He was moving up to fight froch or Chavez while waiting on cotto and his cw he was doing before so what's the difference now? Because it's ward now it's don't do it yet until he fight the Canelo/cotto winner but when he was about to fight froch and Chavez by GOING up it wasn't a problem
Ward beats GGG so what? It's obvious that GGG manager is avoiding the Ward fight until he can make a nice chunk of change for the loss.
What I don't get is the mayweather fans that are having a field day with this yet forgetting the fact that Floyd has avoided big challenges as well
Right
And what big challenges has GGG conquered? I'll wait.

Because Ward is worthless. He brings no $ to the table but wants a lot.
That's the difference, it's a huge difference, how are you guys that dense that you don't understand that.
How do pay Ward and GGG. Explain that to me. That fight won't do **** on ppv. So who's going to pay for it?
Figure that out than come back and talk. Until than go to school.

Froch & Chavez Jr. were BIG MONEY FIGHTS & "BIG DRAMA SHOWS". Ward is NOT. So GGG was willing to meet their demands to make those fights happen. You guys love to justify shlt with your talk about A-side/B-side, risk vs reward, boxing is a business, etc., when it fits your agenda.. But, when the tables are turned, suddenly it's hard to understand?
He has been in line for cotto belt for over a year now that wasn't going stop him from fighting Chavez jr or froch in the mean time taking the fight with ward won't change the fact he will still be in line for the cotto/Canelo winner his team made the demands cw 50/50 split ward team are saying they want it for fall now before his jump to lhw and krusher fight because moving up to full lhw he won't be able to drop back down to smw or the cw they want so now is time to make it happen triple G has nobody lined up for his fall fight neither do ward all the title holders has fights lined up at mw except Lemieux but Oscar has stated he going do a couple Mandatories aka hold belt to see if Canelo wins to have a unification fight between them two so triple G mines well take the ward fight instead of another stiff construction worker from the Qatar World Cup builders line
Obviously, GGG is a year closer to fighting the winner of Canelo/Cotto now than he was a year ago. It could happen early 2016.
And if Ward can't move up to 175 for Krusher, then back down to 168 for GGG, why are you saying that GGG should move up to 168 for Ward, then back down to 160 to unify, all in the space of maybe 6 months?
According to reports given, which is all we have to go by, Ward wants GGG this fall and Kovalev next year. Over the recent weeks, even Kovalev's management serms pretty confident that a Ward bout is on the horizen.
On the other hand, when asked about Ward, GGG's management is playing A-side/B-side d1ck measuring games. Which in boxing language translates to, "we don't want the fight."
But Ward's team haven't said that a fight with Kovalev is on the horizon. Until they do, nobody should be expecting that fight to happen any time soon.
