This coming from the same guy that claims everyone's ducking GGG , meanwhile Wards practically begging to fight him this fall . Do u just fabricate all your posts ?Last edited by SugarRaRobinson; 07-18-2015, 07:00 AM.

Enough of this Froch nastalgia already . I'm still salty he didn't make the GGG fight happen . He still had a lot left and should have ended his career on a REAL high note (he could have beat GGG) , not a artificial one (Groves) . Can't be mad at someone retiring while all their faculties are in tact , but one more vs GGG wouldn't have made much of a difference . I give Froch the diva two thumbs down .Last edited by SugarRaRobinson; 07-18-2015, 06:06 AM.

Watching Froch vs Pascal now, I have seen the fight so many times & it still gets me excited. Seriously one of the best fights I've seen live and criminally underrated, no doubt its right up there among British boxing classics.
The exchanges in this fight, God damn, almost have to close your eyes and turn away at times
(not the best quality)
Really going to miss Carl Froch. I don't think any fighter has consistently provided such great moments in recent times as he did.
The epic war with Pascal
The comeback against Taylor
Putting on a clinic against Abraham when written off as usual.
The destruction of Bute
Two gruelling fights with Kessler
The comeback against Groves and finally the epic K.O ending that rivalry.
I'm proud to be a Froch fan.

Yes Terence, he did make the right call. Heck of a career he had.
Sidenote, typo saying it was 85,000 for Dirrell bout.

The Lucian Bute destruction is the day I became a fan of Froch.
That night he proved me wrong one time too many.
Picked him to lose to Pascal, Taylor, Direll and Abraham. Like most, picked Bute to beat him easily and not only did that not happen he brutalised and destroyed him in 5 rounds.
Epic.

Comments Thread For: Carl Froch: Taking a Look Back at Two Big Nights
Carl Froch’s decision to call time on his career earlier this week prompted a lot of discussion amongst boxing fans. His in-ring achievements received unanimous acclaim, but some criticised his out-of-the-ring persona, which in my opinion is driven by a sense of humour so dry it is almost a stain.
“The Cobra” (33-2, 24 KOs) has had some massive nights: his title winning effort over Jean Pascal in December 2008, the come from behind win over Jermain Taylor (TKO 12), wins over Andre Dirrell (W SD 12), Arthur Abraham (W 12) and Glen Johnson (W MD 12) during his Super Six run.
