K2 has MSG booked for Oct. 17th, perfect for Golovkin/Ward.

          shots fired!

          Yes, SOG mans up!

Now, if GGG can just make good on his trainer's "i beat anyone from 154-175" then we are good to go

Hopefully at 168. But since his fans and GGG are about to claim he is a puny tiny WW, then 166 seems like a solid compromise.

Please let it happen. Ward is the favorite, but GGG can prove his greatness here.

          Floyd vs Pac

          Rigo vs Loma

          GGG vs Ward

          all in 2015

Golovkin should take the fight at 168, but force a 5lbs rehydration clause. Ward's game plan will be to use his size advantage to maul Golovkin with his clinch & turn tactic.

You should listen to Kovalev's interview on that matter.

seems like a good compromise to me. Just as long as Ward isn't coming in 10+ pounds over GGG then it should be good to go

CW's can be tricky and hurt opponents, but a clause between fighters of two different divisions (a reasonable one) seems fair.

Kovalev isn't slick enough to figure out Andre's game. Ward doesn't hold, he has an active clinch that no one has been able to deal with.
clinch, elbow, and head game plan ala kessler fight

Kovalev was clearly being nice because he really respects and likes GGG; it's Abel who keeps talking smack.

If you think GGG hits harder and beats Kovalev in a real fight, then I can't help you. Kovalev mauls him.

Remember, GGG doesn't even want War at 168. What makes you think he could take on Kovalev at 175?
