Ward will almost assuredly ask for Oakland @ 168.

Kovalev went to ALL his top opponents backyards and beat them in their own home. Something Ward doesn't particularly like

I can imagine Kovalev landing a bloody dangerous liver shot onto Ward and ending it. I can't picture Ward, being the smaller and weaker man beat Kovalev. You're also underrating Kovalev's ring IQ.

I agree, GGG will most likely lose.

Ward is in jeopardy against Kovalev, he knows this too, I remember Ward calling Kovalev the "boogeyman"
I guess you didn't understand his meaning. He was speaking of howhe wasn't afraid of the boogeyman that people were making Kov out to be. All his career Andre has been proving people wrong. Best get used to it.

So u basically making something up based on your own expectations? Have a seat. And what's wrong with LA? Golovkin fights there quite often as well and that would actually be the best place to have the fight.

.. I did get it, but he said it knowing that Kovalev isn't an easy walk in a park fight. Kovalev scares his whole division, he is a nightmare up in that weight class.

You need to gather your thoughts and deliver them more coherently. When did I say anything was wrong with LA?

U said Oakland or LA. So the point is both guys regularly fight in LA so why assume Oakland?

Kovalev isn't slick enough to figure out Andre's game. Ward doesn't hold, he has an active clinch that no one has been able to deal with.
One of the rare times I disagree with your perspective. I think kovalev hurts ward. He'll keep a safe distance and one of those lasers will end dre.

Forget this "Team Ward" nonsense, I want to hear Andre Ward say he wants to fight Golovkin this Autumn/Fall.

Come out and say it, tweet it, anything...none of these Chinese whispers.

He's not going to be able to bully him like he did old man Hopkins.
Are we going to act like Kovalev wouldn't have knocked Froch, Kessler, Dawson and Abraham out?

Because that's what we're talking about here, arguably the hardest PFP puncher in the sport who boils down from cruiserweight. This clinch stuff isn't going to work against him, too physically big and aggressive. Ward already has relative feather-fists at SM, he's only going to go further down the Malignaggi scale at 175.

Just from closely following Ward's career for a long time. He makes a big deal of having the hometown advantage and out of the two possible locations he will demand Oakland since the only other possible venue LA has Golovkin fans. They are already not budging over 4 lbs.

I could be wrong, lets wait and see.

As stated before I am far more interested in Kovalev vs Ward. Ward-GGG negotiations will drag on for a while and GGG's style/size aren't good for beating Andre to begin with.
