      Only two pages in....

And I can already see that the messenger has led people to trash the actual message.

Haymon has seen how the old way of doing things has operated, and he's not a fan. As a TV guy himself, he can see that the audience isn't growing, only a handfull of fighters are really breaking out in the PPV model, and promoter/fighter issues are still mucking up fight, harming the fighters.

So, with the backing of money that he was able to raise, he's seeking to do away with the old system and present the sport differently; focus as much on just the fighters, and take the sport back to the broadest audience possible (with the hope of raising the profile of the entire sport, seeing some of the fighters become true national/international names, and eventually delivering the occasional superfight that would actually merit PPV efforts).

The old guard can't seem to see how Haymon's way would work, but they know that his success would lead to their failure, and so they trash his every efffort (warranted or unwarranted)

Keep your heads in the sand if you want

Bullshhh..the fact he's playing manager and promoter indirectly is what has people pissed. Only thing black about Haymon is his complexion, harvard people aren't about color other than green. Skirting the Ali act though only gets a pass on here because folks want to see a brother in charge which is fine but let's not talk bullshhh simply because he resembles our shade. If a white guy or a spanish guy was pulling this bullshhh most of the haymon defenders would be crying foul

Or Oscar is hated on because he is a cross dresser?
This is what pisses me off anytime anone says anything bad about black people it's racism but they can hate in whomever the fawk they want to because their ancestors were ******? What about the Latinos who were ****d and and murdered ?
Thing is yes racism still exists today no doubt but al Haymon is getting sh itted on because h is a prik that is ruining boxing with his bull sh it
Only ignorant fools will use the race card here

Now that pbc is in full swing, the fights have gotten better but he's still not putting his best against his best. It has also isolated the sport even further as there are many quality fights we will not witness due to haymons rifts with hbo, GBP, and top rank.

This has nothing to do with race but instead has to do with haymon trying to implement a hostile takeover of the sport that will only further damage it.
i wouldntsay it has further isolated the sport, the Cold War is still being waged, only difference is GBP changed sides. The line between this/that side has only become more distinct. This is still a product of HBO/TR refusing to do business with Haymon.

Dude al haunting won't work with anyone to make big fights is boxing fans want to see. He wants all the fighters to sign under his promotional banner. Out of al the free network boxing only 2-3 have been good. Man I wish these mayweather goons could see what's going on and not be blinded by it

So now you're a promoter advocate. Fighting for the rights of GBP and Top Rank. Such a noble cause.

There is more racism in these forums that I hold in my desire to point out than there is in that lawsuit. That lawsuit is like 99% about $ and 1% about being jelly haters.
