Bullshhh..the fact he's playing manager and promoter indirectly is what has people pissed. Only thing black about Haymon is his complexion, harvard people aren't about color other than green. If you just do a little investigating you will see the race card is played AGAINST non-white people more than its played by non-white people. The US is a little ****ing nuts about non-white people & the white people who live in the US are kinda insulated from that cuz they are so used to living in that world. IE. Being a white person in the US is like living in the blind sport of racial injustice & where ****** ass logic is often quoted as being meaningful (Black president = can't be no racism now ya'll).

I don't think this is playing a part by many fans. I mean boxing fans are notorious for loving to talk about how little UFC guys get paid. I think the overwhelming majority of boxing fans wanna see boxers getting paid well.

While its always a easy & sometimes a fun conversation to bring up how "you'd fight GGG for $50k & x won't fight him for $500k so he's a *****" & how "y got paid $2M for the fight & then he quit...he doesn't deserve that money" I tend to think that boxing fans inherently believe there is more going on in determining how much a boxer is worth from years & years worth of training in their craft & that they have probably earned or deserve the money they are getting for the sacrifice they potentially could be making on any given night in such a dangerous sport.

If Haymon is a promoter than surely HBO is a promoter also in your estimation right?

And if HBO isn't a promoter in your estimation than I don't see how Haymon is either therefore he's just a manager who basically outsources promoter duties like HBO is a TV station who basically outsources promoter duties. Neither of which is against the MAA if you've actually ever read the MAA, as I suspect few have who love to claim Haymon is doing something shady thats against the MAA.
