Of course you have people who don't like him and part of the reason is because he is Black, that is just who those people are but I don't think it is many of them! I think it is far more who are just either upset and concerned that if PBC Works out WTF will happen to their fighter since their favorite fighter is currently not with PBC. Also think it is some who think that Haymon is all about Black Fighters because he is Black so they don't trust him because they don't think he will be "Fair" that is a form or racism as well.

I can't hate someone I never met or held a conversation with, I never heard the man voice besides in one video in which he was congratulating Keith Thurman

Everything I know about Haymon is strictly from what others SAY about him. I understand why HBO and his Competition hates him because he is making their job SO HARD because he Drive Up Prices for Fighters for other Promoters and Networks like HBO so yeah they're not going to like him

The hate started happening when a few highly anticipated fights started getting scrapped due to haymons involvment. Most notably kovalev vs Stevenson which was pretty much a done deal until haymon stepped in.

Then how can we forget the pure crap he put out last year. Most notably Garcia vs salka.

Now that pbc is in full swing, the fights have gotten better but he's still not putting his best against his best. It has also isolated the sport even further as there are many quality fights we will not witness due to haymons rifts with hbo, GBP, and top rank.

This has nothing to do with race but instead has to do with haymon trying to implement a hostile takeover of the sport that will only further damage it.

Doesn't matter about racism... anyone with a pulse should know that won't go away. What matters... whatever Don King says... you can believe the exact opposite is true. This the guy who skroo-ed over so many boxers it's sickening. Funniest thing ever about him was after one of Lennox Lewis' fights, King wanted to sign him. Lewis said meet me in the restaurant in the morning and we'll discuss it. When King gets there, he finds Lewis had already left the motel. That's the kind of instant justice Don King should have received his entire career. Arum and all the rest of the promoters have their sleazy sides as well... but King is the worst promoter ever.

As for Haymon, I just don't like the quality of most of the cards he's involved with, and I don't like him purposely trying to run other promoters out of business. None of that helps boxing at all.

When you were born into a position where you are forced to babysit a community and take on a parental role and are blamed for all of their problems you have every right to speak for them.
