Mike Tyson, the former undisputed World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, says of his former manager, "(King is) a wretched, slimy, reptilian mother****er. This is supposed to be my 'black brother', right? He's just a bad man, a real bad man. He would kill his own mother for a dollar. He's ruthless, he's deplorable, he's greedy ... and he doesn't know how to love anybody."

King has been using the "hey I'm your black brother give me a chance" routine to rip people off his entire life. He's gotten out of prison sentences and made millions with it. Haymon better run for his life.

Don't know if it's necessarily racism but it's strange that he gets so much hate.

I don't get it. We have more boxing, boxers are getting paid, we're seeing them in better fight. Yet people find a way to complain it's strange.

Guess this is why bob once said he didn't give a damn what hardcore fans wanted.

Quite honestly, I hate Al Haymon's involvement in boxing. I think the PBC is terrible, and he is perhaps the main reason why this "cold war" is persisting in the sport. It has zero to do with his background, skin color etc. Race mostly only comes into this equation via the way in which Haymon supporters seem to be race supporters more than anything.
