If I was Saurland what I'd do is put price on In bum of the month style fights in Liverpool.

Honestly the scouse football fans who know nothing about boxing will pay to watch price ko guys with records of 4-18-3 at the echo arena.

Based on what Sauerland has done with other fighters like Braehmer, I am guessing this means they will set Price up for an interim alphabet belt in Germany against an unranked cruiserweight with something like a 25-1 record who hasn't beaten anyone with a winning record or fought outside of Idaho. Perfect Sauerland "title" fight.

That's exactly right. If they want to make any sort of money or return on him, this is the only way to do it. As it stands, after tonight they can't even feed him to someone like Joshua as nobody is going to buy in to it. I think that might have been part of the plan anyway to feed him to a top UK heavyweight and cash in but they've given him once last run to see if he can make something of his career and it turns out he just isn't up to it.

If he's going to carry on then if they want to recoup any money they would just need to have him fighting in Liverpool in front of people who know nothing about boxing but if he's knocking guys out they will support him. Maybe by then Joshua or Fury might be too high up in their career if it all goes well for them but he they could still cash in on Price as a comeback fight if one of those fighters takes a loss or if another good heavyweight prospect comes along that is creating hype.

Even so, i'm not entirely sure i'd be confident of him going through 10 guys with that 4-18-3 record without getting caught and stopped.

I suspected he'd fall tonight, but I didn't expect such a limp showing. He had everything in his favour and still found a way to lose.
