You highlighted the part after he used the three words you ****ing idiot.

Tyson Fury was right. Big stiff plumber from Liverpool. I laughed when people predicted he'd upend Wladimir as champion in 2012 and I laugh now. ****ing Erkan Teper sparked him out.

This was when David Price was undefeated and at the height of the hype machine. I'm usually spot on about scouting heavyweight talent but even I was caught up in the hype machine. At the time I thought Price was the most promising prospect and would vie for a title, but not win. Man, I was ****in' wrong

Umm, Price could still take out Wilder

I think 90% of the people discussing such a match-up called it a 'whoever lands first' type of fight, because thats what it is

You've got two fighters who are very limited other than their power, Wilder has a bit more of a jab but thats all. Literally whoever lands first

You having Wilder on your favourites list is duly noted though

Gatekeeper status for the plumber now. I'd still watch him against up-and-comers. Maybe the Joshua fight can still happen.

I was the opposite as I called both losses against Thompson. I was glad he took this fight. Teper is no slouch. He is pretty basic but I mentioned before the fight that he throws a lot of punches & there was no reason he couldn't drop Price. If price wanted to get in the title picture he would have to beat guys like Teper. I think we saw the last of David Price. I figured he would have to get off the floor to win but just like in the Thompson fights he couldn't. I think of Oleg Maskaev when I look at Price. Maskaev had reached greater heights as he was a guy who could box, had solid power & a had nice arsenal of punches but his chin failed him many times. David Price's chin has failed him. It's either he retires or accepts a new role as a stepping stone / undercard fighter. He's done on the big stage.

wilder took some decent shots from Molina & stiverne. price was backing up & looked very tentative. He looked very uncomfortable with Teper's aggressiveness. Wilder would starch him in a round...

Haymon probably got price lined up for wilder as soon as he saw the KO

He may be back or he may not but Pricey is gutted, losing is hard enough and made worse by fans destoying you for it and Price doesn't deserve that.
Its a tough sport, for sure. in what other sport do you end up stretchered out, fans jeering, probably with no hope of coming back , or earning a living...Brutal
I hope he retires and finds happiness in another profession.

I just hope he got paid well, because there will probably be no more paydays coming in the ring.

The odds of him ever becoming a top contender are very slim. I think he should quite boxing.
