sure, it'd be a fine boxing match (albeit low on action), but i have no expectations for mayweather's next fight. it's just an exhibition and a chance for him to say goodbye to the sport, by the sounds of things. plus lara lost his last big fight to a guy who mayweather had already soundly beaten, so i doubt he feels much pressure to face lara anyway

GGG and Lara are by far the best and only legitimate options for Floyd.

Lara gives Floyd far more problems than Brook, Khan, or Thurman... and it's for that reason that Floyd hasn't even mentioned his name!

Floyd hasn't even announced his opponent yet, lol... But honestly, who cares?

We know Floyd won't man up and take on a real challenge for his last fight, and all the boxing "fans" eat that **** up for some reason I can't surmise.

Can't disagree. He should take on someone tough for his last fight like greats like SRL, Hearns and Duran did.

If not Lara, give me someone else. Floyd should take on someone tough for his last fight like SRL, hearns and Duran did. don't you agree?

too many people KO happy, and Floyd takes advantage of them every chance he gets.

The best chance to beat Floyd was always gonna be someone who could outbox him, IE Lara and etc. But fans are so hell bent on seeing someone KO him, they keep voting for these heavy handed fighters, in which is easy for him.

Lara is one of the few legit opponents for Mayweather that I think could beat Mayweather. That said there is virtually no interest in this fight so there is no chance it happens. If Lara could've gotten the W vs Saul & maybe parlayed that W into another W over Cotto I think Lara woulda gotten some increased hype as an opponent for Mayweather & maybe this fight coulda been on the short list, but it was not to be.

Berto is a warrior and comes to fight. He has a punchers chance and he's exciting. Not to mention his slick shoulder roll skills.

May vs Beast is long overdue.
