Rigo vs loma is one of the greatest stylistic matchups in history. Canelo-cotto is basically another overhyped mexico-puerto Rico rivalry.
Yeah because Pacquiao, Mayweather, Margarito, and Trout = Hisashi Amagasa, .

And getting smoked by Mayweather = losing to Orlando Salido, .

    Nice try.

Want to take a stab at who Cotto and Canelo were fighting in their 20th fights?

Let alone, their 16th fight? Or their 6th?

Wake me when the winner actually fights a middleweight at 160.
      Blah, blah, blah.

Lomachenko is 27 years old, . Canelo turns 25 on Saturday.

Guillermo Rigondeaux and Miguel Cotto are both 34 years old.

Canelo and Cotto were knocking out grown men in their 20th fights. Lomachenko and Rigondeaux were busy fighting teenagers with headgear, .

I love Rigo vs Loma but Canelo vs Cotto has much much MUCH bigger implications. The winner especially if it's Canelo will probably get us a fight between the winner against GGG next year. And Canelo vs Cotto will be a big PPV hit IMO. I could see it getting 800k plus. And without a doubt will be a much more exciting fight.

At the age of 20 Cotto lost in the Olympics and never won a world medal/olympic medal. Cotto finished his amateur career at 125-23.

At the age of 20, Lomachenko had an Olympic gold, and a World silver from 2007. Lomachenko finished his amateur career at 396-1, and avenged his only loss (from the 2007 Worlds) twice.

Lomachenko's second professional fight (at the age of 26) was against someone who was probably better than the first 30-35 professional opponents Canelo has faced. Cotto's first real opposition was probably when he was around 26 years old, after 25+ professional fights.

Lomachenko's loss against Salido was bull****. This is what happens when you fight in Texas (and I'm a Texan). You get poor officiating. Salido should have loss due to points being deducted from low blows, not to mention him intentionally coming in overweight at the weigh in. Salido looked close to getting put down in that final round. 147 pounds vs 136 pounds, lol... You should be use to that, however, since Canelo drains himself to the bone to get a size advantage over all his opponents.

Rigo/Loma by a country mile. That's more skill in one fight then you may ever see.

FYI Abdullayev won the gold medal. Watch the fight and tell me who you think won that fight
