As opposed to two "middleweights" that don't even want to fight opponents at 160?

I guess you can say "well, at least Canelo and Cotto both fight in the same weight class"...it's just too bad nobody else does.

      I'm equally interested in both.

      Rigo/Loma is free though.

At Middleweight or not, I have yet to see Canelo get roughed up by an Orlando Salido type or Miguel Cotto get dropped by a Hisashi Amagasa type, .

Rigo and Loma are two of the most skilled P4P fighters in the world, doe.

This ain't the Olympics. No headgear for those sissies in the pro ranks.

Funny,I think that cotto would have loved some headgear against trout,Pacquiao, and Margarito, and canelo could have used some headgear when Jose cotto had him on Bambi legs, and when mayweather used him for target practice for 12 rounds. Rigo vs loma is one of the greatest stylistic matchups in history. Canelo-cotto is basically another overhyped mexico-puerto Rico rivalry.

Lomachenko and Rigondeaux have like 20 careeer fights, COMBINED.

Want to take a stab at who Cotto and Canelo were fighting in their 20th fights?

Let alone, their 16th fight? Or their 6th?

Wake me when the winner actually fights a middleweight at 160.

Loma vs Rigo has much more prestige and legitimacy.

Canelo vs Cotto has the potential to be a fun brawl but it's a bit of a novelty Mexico vs PR rivalry event between two guys who made up their own custom weight divisions and temporarily exist outside of normal boxing. A little too pro wrassly for me.

Cotto vs Canelo will be a much better fight but I would rather see Rigondeaux vs Lomachenko. I do enjoy watching two highly skilled technicians go at it even though I know it won't be that action packed.
