All the relevant SMWs? Who? like Brian Magee and Andrade? Miranda and Bika? Honestly, bunch of average joes who'd already been smashed to bits by others in tune ups.

The only thing Bute did of note was to lie to the public about offering Mikkel Kessler $3million so he had an excuse not to fight top guys.

Kessler, at the time, would have ended his career then and there.

Bika is the 3rd best win on Ward's resume lol

Miranda was still a hard puncher. BUt like I said, all the relevant smws OUTSIDE of the tourney, who else was he supposed to fight? Kessler got elboed to death and wasn't seen again for ages. Froch and Ward were busy in the tournament (Ward wanted nothing to do with Bute lest we forget). AA and Taylor fell away.

The moment the tournament ended, Bute and no qualms about coming to England to face Froch. It is what it is.

I dunno, his power is hyped but he is actually a good boxer and has only lost to the best in his division (DA, Judah and Garcia).

Victor Ortiz! Have people forgotten the hype that Ortiz had when he was fighting at 140 before Maidana made him quit? Victor Ortiz was suppose to be the next Oscar De La Hoya!

Hype is what got him his shot vs Mayweather!

Another one is Devon Alexander! He was getting hype at 140 as well, I remember it was Timothy Bradley, Devon Alexander, Victor Ortiz and Amir Khan all 4 was getting a lot of hype and attention at 140. Devon Alexander was labeled "The Next Mayweather" even Mayweather was praising him and his career as since fizzled out as well

It's easily Adrien Broner, I don't see how there's any discussion. Other guys were overhyped, but no one was declared the next Floyd Mayweather or thrown in the top 5 of p4p lists or called the future of the sport like Broner.
