Lee Selby - Bad boy boxer documentary

They could of came up with a better name but anyway thought I'd share, its a good watch.
Documentary on 'The Welsh Mayweather' and a behind the scenes look into his camp for Gradovich with footage of him sparring Oscar Valdez

I was gonna post this myself but slipped out of my head.

Yeah good watch. I was thinking the other day how we haven't seen the best of Selby yet. Like there is more to come and that his performance vs Evgeny wasn't 100% of what he truly possesses.

What really irks me is when Selby won the title it was as if he won the British or CMW belt given the lack of praise he was getting, yet Mitchell came out the hero after losing his 3rd shot from the same show.

Mitchell got praise for putting forth a very good effort against an absolutely tremendous opponent. As far as skill/talent go, Linares is a bit special.

Selby had a good performance against a decent opponent but the premature ending seemed to take some of the shine off it.

Mitchell was fighting for his 3rd World title. Regardless of how gutsy it was, he lost. 0/3 in World title chances and all by stoppages.

Gradovich won his title off a champ coming from a vacation, defended it 5 times and was undefeated. Linares is nice to watch, but at the end he is a 3 weight "vacant" champ, 3 losses all by KO, two inside 3.

Selby has done it the hard way from small hall shows to winning every single belt available to him as a Welsh fighter.

Mitchell deserves every last ounce pf praise for his efforts.

To discredit him like you have shows your true knowledge of boxing.

Selby was impressive, against a limited face first fighter - he was being set up to take the belt, anyone could see that.

Mitchell would have needed to rip the Belt from Linares cold hands, and he very nearly did.

Selby was pretty much given the belt by the referee / Hearn.

Looked like he struggled with Valdez in sparring. Excited to see that guy reach the world stage.

His dad is a strange character

I've had the pleasure to talk to Selby, the guy is maturing into a good little fighter.I'm still expecting him to raise his game another level,he's got the talent to.

Im not convinced that his current team is good enough to take him to the next level. Just judging on the doc and how he fights. He has bags of talent though.

I agree. He needs to train somewhere where there is great sparring available at all times. No, I don't mean Gallagher.

Watched this last week. Liked Selby since I first watched him on sky. He's a great fighter who's only going to get better.
