Selby has done it the hard way from small hall shows to winning every single belt available to him as a Welsh fighter.
What does 0-3 have to do with his performance against Linares?

Mitchell took a lot of stick for his poor performances against Katsidis and Burns. To earn another title shot and perform well in a FOTY candidate against the best opponent he's ever faced deserves some praise.

I'm not taking anything away from Selby, he's a good fighter and he's now a world champion. Just pointing out that the reason Mitchell got the most acclaim from the two is because he was fighting a much better opponent and it was a hell of a fight while the ending of Selby's was underwhelming.

Fully agree Tom.Me and a work mate were talking about this a while back.I suggested Tony Simms like i did for Joshua. He's perfect for his style of fighting,Simms is a technique master and takes no sh.it.

Very underrated trainer.Simms,Tibbs,McCraken,Fury and Gallagher are the best trainers in England, any of them would be good.

Lee Selby is the most Mexican looking Welsh person I've ever seen.

Class this, just finished watching it today. Well worth watching.

Selby seems like a good lad.

Can't wait to see him in some big fights...a fight with Frampton would be massive.
